My friend Philipe Vana brought this on a breezy but warm summer night and it quite simply astounded. Capacious amounts of citric fruit and pineapple with hints of honey and vanilla oak. On par with the other outstanding white I drank over the years, Far Niente Chardonnay. Superb.

Dinner at "Telemachus BBQ Club" (Nea Kifissia - Athens - Greece), with my wife Marilena and my friend George. A blend of 60% Semillon, 37% Sauvignon Blanc and 3% Muscat de Frontignan, matured for 12 months in barrels. Yellow gold in color. Nice aromatic profile and high acidity. Daisies, camomile, citrus and passion fruits, both on the nose and palate. Long and oaky finish. Good pairing with a steak tartare.
