Rolland run amok! Described as hedonistic, which translates to over the top in all aspects. Makes Mollydooker's The Boxer look subtle. Inky dark crimson. No fade at the rim. Extra full bodied. Over extracted nose like a Petit Syrah. Mouth coating, inky, super rich, full of glycerin, almost syrupy. Slight astringency cuts the sweetness and jamminess a bit. Surprisingly not hot at 16.3%! Not food friendly (except for dark salted chocolate). Not complex like an Amarone. Interesting, but not that good. A blunt force trauma wine.

🏅 Rating 89/100 (3,9⭐)
Slightly floral, violets. Black fruits. Bloody. Sweet on the palate. Overly oaked, Michel Roland style. Herbal sweet balsamic note.
Very classic Malbec from the highest vineyard in the world.
16,1% Alc.

Rich luscious wine. Garnet purple. Blackberry raspberry with dark bitter chocolate palate. Long finish. Another Michel Rolland gem.
