  • Cork is short and soft, but intact. Pours thick and leaves fat tears. Colour is a reddish brown so deep it's almost black. Soft, faded nose of fuel, rotten wood, raisin, and red fruit. Mild flavours of dark chocolate, raisin, and prune. Palate shows moderate sweetness (slightly sticky) balanced by soft tannin, bright acidity, and clean spirit. The mouthfeel is beautifully balanced, but the flavour is quite faded and just starting to decay. Lovely, but needs to be drunk soon.
