  PHMG WAG: Battle BV. Beaulieu vs Beringer Napa Cabs. (Lyon Again): I'm going to shortcut again, and given that Madeira is the least likely wine to change in 2 years, I do not feel bad using an old note when the wine came off the same:
  "This has the requisite oxidized brown color and a vivid nose of butterscotch, caramel, walnuts, dried orange peel, and a touch of earth. Nice balance of sweet and sour on the palate. Good length and even a bit better the next day."
  
  I did enjoy it a bit more this night.

  Un vin d'exception!
  
  Couleur qui oscille entre l'acajou et le noyer.
  Le nez est tout simplement magique : Érable, pacanes grillées, caramel, fruits secs, caoutchouc, café etc...etc..etc..
  Mais c'est en bouche que c'est particulièrement renversant.
  C'est sec. Rien de sirupeux ou même vaguement sucré pourtant on a toutes les saveurs qu'on avait au nez plus de la vanille, du moka, de la figue du tabac mais aussi un côté très légèrement amer qui donne le goût d'y regoûter encore et encore.
  Et cette longueur!
  Si on voulait démontrer à un néophyte ce qu'est la persistance aromatique, il faudrait lui faire essayer ce Madère. On le goûte encore après litéralement des minutes.
  Un grand vin de méditation à prendre pour lui même après le repas.
  
  Difficile de placer ce type de vin dans le temps. Ça me semble indestructible bien que ça ne bonifiera pas non plus. Donc à boire dès maintenant ou avec vos petits-enfants un jour.
