  • Evolved to have secondary characteristics, while the fruit and a bit of tannin remains it's well integrated. Fruit was sightly oxidized, like dried plums more than anything else. Herbs and Asian long pepper were also present.

  • Very nice, classic Napa Cab... Dark fruits, cedar and some oak. Nice finish.

  • Prior to decant, I always enjoy a taste upon opening. Frist tasting notes, aroma needs decanting to evaluate but I expect it to be very full and concentrated, and into the mouth, it was very smooth, lmedium body, tannins become distinct after a long thin finish, reminding me of Welches grape juice, well dahhhh, but more than I have ever experienced in a Cabernet. Ok, I only have $40 in this bottle so no super expectations or disappointments. I'll come back in an hour or so and see where we are at.
Five hours later and on my last glass...have to say I am not overly impressed with the wine. It is lacking any real backbone. I have had similar wines at half the price. The lingering after taste faded as the wine breathed....pooh, I was expecting more as it opened up. 85-87
