  A perfect middleweight Barolo. Sweet, great purity, structured. This wine was great in 2016 also. In 2022 a bottle I drank wasn't so great - maybe it was off.

  Lovely classic barolo, hits all the right notes. High toned aromatics, sweet cherry, Italian herbs and wood shavings. In the glass, light to medium bodied, clear translucent rim, with no bricking. On the palate, complex, earthy notes, red fruits with classic Barolo characteristics framed with refined tannins and acidity. Plenty to like, and no need to hurry.

  A wonderful "basic" Barolo. Classic tar and rose notes, restrained phenolics. I don't think it will age much, but I would not feel rushed to drink it. The acidity and tannins are well balanced and it has a clarity and vibrancy that are both terrific.
