Funk and barnyard in the nose on opening with a candied raspberry, Sour Patch Kids thing going on, and acidity on the high end of the scale during Day 1 of the tasting experience. By Day 2 things round out, but it never comes together. Muted nose. Port-like notes with plums and blackberries. Dusty, woody notes. But otherwise not noteworthy.

Rich, delicious blackberry fruit with layers of complex flavors including black olives, spice, and mineral, excellent structure, initially wine was very tight and closed, needed 2+ hours to open and become more expansive, excellent value

M-5, deep color, best w/in 1 hr, round & smooth, at first notes of spice & soft tannins, some of the spice went away with air. drink it up.
