  • Actually quite suprising. Smells of nothing but toast (this is not a mataphor - I really mean toast) but this is not really evident in the taste. On the mouth is quite subtle well balanced red berry / rose petal flavours - quite unlike any other pinot noir I've ever tasted. Worth trying just because its different.

  • Strawberry red and full looking. The nose is bright, sweet fruit. The palate is sweet, red fruits. Juicy. Too sweet. When cooler it works better with a spicy edge to the palate.

  • This is the best Pinot at this price point I have every tasted. It has a rich, seductively perfumed bouquet of strawberry, tobacco and vanilla, and a generous array of fruity flavours on the palate held together by just the right level of acidity, finishing with a polished, clean minerality and a very satisfying retronasal experience of spice and cedar. This is a remarkable wine at this price, and will accompany both fish and meat superbly, chilled slightly to around 15 degrees (important!) I will continue to buy this wine frequently.
