I am about as negative on B&H wines given I have enjoyed a bottle or two out of many. 90% of their wines are overdone, stewed fruit and alcohol driven.
However after this bottle and other note maybe they have a ton of bottle variation as well. This bottle while was still in a more new world style it did not cross over the line. It had good balance, length, texture and some secondary flavors. Now my expectations for this bottle were minimal at best but objectively thought this bottle was pretty darn solid.

Yuck! Opaque purple. Acetone & porty notes on the nose. Blueberries & general sweetness on the palate. A friend remarked that he would never guess it was cabernet if tasted blind. A poor excuse.
