  Dark ruby, thinning to clear at the edge. Reticent nose of blueberry and oak. Okay, the oak isn't that reticent. Light to medium bodied, bright cherries and pomegranites are enveloped by massive toasted oak, followed by a dry, smokey short to medium finish. Worked well with a roast tonight, but not so much as a solo sipper. It is, however, much better than when I sampled it over a year ago, so give it some more time.
