Stony mineral aroma. Pears, apples and minerals dominate mid palate, strong apricot flavors in the finish. This wine has really come into its own and is drinking beautifully right now. I would match this against all but the best German Kabinetts, and even among the best it would hold its own.
FWIW, this is my go to wine for pulled pork.

Closed in pear aroma. Unmistakably riesling, with flavors of petrol and apricots, and a hint of spritz. The apricot hangs around for the medium finish.
Hosmer remains one of my favorite FL wineries for riesling. Sometimes good, sometimes better than good, never bad, and always a great value. I like this quite a bit right now, it will be interesting to see where it is in a year or two.

(Hosmer Winery Riesling Cayuga Lake) Fennel, sweet lime and pear on the nose with an interesting dried apple note in the background. Nicely balanced off-dry style. Mouth-filling and fruity with lime and pear/apple. Enough RS to please the masses, but not without class. Very good value.
