Popped and poured. Notes of wet earth jump from the glass. This wine is dirty in all the right ways. Flavors of mild cinnamon and Italian plums. Balanced acidity. Still very youthful with a dark purple color. Oak was well integrated until the finish when it became a touch too front and center. Would purchase again.

Popped and poured. Much darker color than I was anticipating. Nose of cinnamon and earth. Alcohol comes across a bit too heavy, but doesn't stay on the palate that long. Flavors of sweet red apple, plum and cinnamon. Very spicy (but smooth) tannins. Finish burns a bit like a red hot candy. Would purchase again.

Really amazing fruit here, this wine delivers! Manages to be fruit forward but maintain a balanced structure and not cross over into sweet or too floral -- a great showcase of the fruit. I hear that this vintage may be the only pure varietal release for a wihle given the great quality, worth snapping some up. Structure indicates it should have a couple years in it, but fantastic now.
