Another Saturday at Chevalier...Mostly Blind (Chicago, IL): Tasted double blind. Aromas had me deciding between Northern Rhone and Burgundy, but palate more clearly Rhone. Black cherry, cracked black pepper, bacon fat and anise. Moderately ripe or powerful, while very well balanced and texturally interesting. Very good length.
