Sour berries, dark fruit, some tannins left. Cork broke, wine was not spoiled. Medium/full mouthfeel. Interesting but probably would not go out of my way for this.

PnP at Ridgewood with friends. This was accessible very quickly but reached its peak within 30 min of opening. Some earthy cedar on the nose and palate. Nice mature red fruit and an acid finish. Paired well with my east coast oysters. This is at or slightly beyond peak, time to drink up!

This bottle seemed a little tired. One taster noted a touch of barnyard, as well, which I did not notice. I suspect this would've been more impressive 3-4 years ago.

Light purple color with a little bricking around the edges. The nose is bright red fruits (cherries and strawberries) with spicy cinnamon notes and a lot of earth and organic aromas. The mouth is full and beautifully balanced with great, still fresh and lingering fruit surrounded by soft but full and noticeable tannins and a long refreshing acidity underlying the entire profile.
