Golden yellow with a hint of green. Deep and quite rich, but supported by with lovely acidity giving it extremely enjoyable tension. I can still taste this in my mind a couple days later. Super stuff.

Beautiful bottle, not terribly sweet any more, but excellent sugar/acid balance underlying powerful and pure expression of white and yellow peach fruit. Cellared since original release.

Pretty light gold color, with a distinctive taste centered on tangerine, Stayman Winesap apple, and rounded acidity instead of the slate, lemon/line, Granny Smith apple, and saber sharp acidity common in Mosel River Valley Riesling. Very delicious and caressing with a gentle glide down the throat, while fruit, sweetness, and acidity maypole dance together through a long and lingering finish.
