Rusted crimson. Intense fresh bouquet of cherries, vanilla oak, with an undertone of blackcurrant and plum. Lightweight on entrance, effortlessly developing into medium bodied wine, reaches out and grabs your attention. Velvety smooth mouthfeel. Medium tannin. Distinct taste of cherry and medium on oak. Multi-layered, filled with complexity. Transition is impeccable. Extremely drinkable. Tinge of oaky spiciness on the medium-length finish. Built on a solid backbone resulting in a well-structured yet extremely refined, elegant and austere wine.

Deep garnet with glossy crimson hues, expressive nose of fruit cake, blackberry, blackcurrant and vanilla. Soft and silky mouthfeel, with blackcurrant, cherry and toast oak. Plenty of rich fruits with soft acidity. Nice smooth tannins with medium finish. Excellent QPR at SGD25 as a daily quaffer. This was retail around AUD20-22 back in Aust, but ironically I once bought a Alkoomi white label Shiraz for SGD38 which only retail at AUD16. This is Singapore, you have to be savvy to get the best deal ;)

Just above average Aussie Cab. Cassis/blackberry and a touch of herbs. A bit hot through the middle. I liked it better than most of the ballsy bombs from Australia. Got softer/smoother on the second day.
