There's bottle variation for older champagne and this is the weakest of three bottles from the same batch as far as I understand. Almost no bubbles, orange, relatively darkish colour. Yeasty, fino jerez nose with dried red fruits and hints of cognac. Vinuous and fine, but after the liveliness and class of other mature but exemplary bottles in this evening, this was a step downhill.
