Frankly we wanted to try the Chardonnay but we left it to fate and tried the Pinot Binco. Good colour shows age but still bright lemony yellow/ gold. The nose had a touch of oxidation but that went away with a bit of time in the glass. Evolved fruit on the nose, soft honey touches, open still and very much present. On the palate it’s a notch above, still energetic and very surprisingly so as we thought the PB does not age as much as the Chardonnay. True to its Terlan longevity, delicious to drink with good fruit and was an experience to be cherished. Maybe a touch less complex than the Chardonnay but superb 93-94

Light golden in color. Nose of medium intnesity, elegant but rather restrained though complex. Aromas of tropical fruit like pineapple and mango together with bitter quince and peach dominate. There is also minerality on the background but also lemon and lime. Palate is soft textured and creamy - very classy. Medium bodied with fine acidity and a very elegant whole. Apart from color and complexity I could not tell that this wine was so old, it had freshness, delination and class, but probably needed more time to show its full potential.
