Glass: Zalto Universal Popped and poured, drunk over multiple days. Clear, medium golden-amber color. Clean, medium intense, fully developed nose. Lots of black tea, tangerine, spices, herbs and linseed oil, combined with some firn. Complex and beautiful. On the palate medium-sweet with a medium+ round, ripe and perfectly integrated acidity. Only 8,5% abv. Flavours of very fine vanilla, apricot, black tea and herbs. Very round, creamy and well balanced. Mouthcoating without being sticky at all. Pure harmony! Finish is very long, elegant and lingering with a wonderful kick of spiciness at the very end. Drink now! 93-94

Best bottle (Restaurant Waldhorn, Kirchheim, Germany): Glass: Gabriel Standard Popped and poured. I put that wine against the Egon Müller Auslese to show, how these wines can age. At first, when I tried both wines I thought: Damn, Egon is blowing this Kesselstadt completely away! But, you need to have patience and give it time and air. It is not as vibrant and energy loaded as the Müller Auslese, but it is a beautiful wine at its full peak. Nose with lots of tangerine and herbs. Very round and elegant. On the palate pure harmony and balance. Again, lots of tangerine and herbs, also some spices. Elegant and at its full peak. Long finish. Beautiful. 93
