  Purchased from domaine in 2018. Cork in decent shape. Nose indicated bottle was in great shape. Aromas of flint, caramel, and butterscotch. Flavors of lemon, lime, with still a fair amount of acidity, on the front. On the mid palate there were flavors of caramel and a touch of butterscotch. Long finish was an amalgamation of all the above. Decanted remaining half bottle around hour 1 and consumed over hours 1-3. The wine became fresher in the decanter and shed quite a bit of age. Overall, a complex and rich aged burgundy. This peaked several years ago, but it will continue to hold for several years more. This would probably be pretty sensational in a magnum format.
