JK birthday. Was very excited when I got it in my glass, there were still black fruits and mushroom scents, but what follows was for sure concentrated but very rustic and very compact, folded on itself and lacking the qualities usually associated with this fine terroir.

Burg Dinner with Friends (Grace - Chicago IL): Mature cherry aromas and flavors with plenty of earth. Started somewhat plain, and more mushroom and mature fruit emerged with more air, but this never really opened up into something as exciting as we hoped. Jim says his previous few bottles have been far more interesting.
