Community Tasting Notes (2)

  • Light to medium ruby with orange tinge. Very intense, sweet, lifted nose, reminding of light traditional Burgs, with caramel and red fruit, crushed berries, dirt and rather strong VA. Light body, very high acidity, red apples and red berries on the palate. It maybe called unripe by modern standards, and yet I can't help liking it. Extremely light, refreshing, summery red, closer on the palate to a rose or a rather tannic white. Quite long, sour aftertaste, sour cherries, cranberries.

  • Strange funky (bathroom) nose that blew off after 20 minutes or so. Clear colour turning brownish. Good nose with berries and animal notes. Fresh light taste, a bit juicy but quite good and balanced. Notes of wood, blueberries and strawberries. Strange but very interresting and good.
