  • Opened not decanted. Pale yellow / straw colored; nice nose of refined citrus; slightly elevated alcohol and acidity; a clean, spicy, tangy finish. A solid, middle of the road, Good.

Day 2: what a difference a day makes. Today was a warmer day and the bottle was out on the counter pickiing up some afternoon sun. The wine is now at a warmer temp than yesterday, and 24 hours later it is fatter, buttery and oakey. Still a little noticable alcohol bite, but a much better wine today. Per JP website, bottled December 2002.
