  • Medium-deep rich golden in color with amber/orange tones. Full, forward, attractive & complex nose of developed and mature, rich, lush, very ripe fruit aromas of canned peaches, dried apricots, pineapple & orange rind with lovely floral overtones of honeysuckle, burnt caramel, spice notes of ginger & cloves, almonds, minerals & just a hint of vanilla in the background. Full bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced, silky smooth textured, developed, mature & complex, lush, dense, very ripe fruit flavors of apricots, yellow peaches, nectarines & golden raisins with honey, caramel, ginger spice, minerals & vanilla crème brulee. Long lingering rich sweet finish. Drinks quite well at present and although it may be at its peak of development, it has the fruit & structure to continue holding onto its current plateau for a limited time although I doubt any further development would occur. [A.P. Nr. 5 142 043 30 77; Alc. 9.5%]
