Unusual blend, at least for me. Ugni blanc in there, which is intriguing. But, in the end not a favorite. Still, so thankful for the Perrin brothers generally for making affordable table wines that are interesting and often quite good.

It's got a nice, fresh, melony-lemony nose somewhat reminiscent of dealcolised Cognace. In the mouth, it's quite crisp and fresh but with some marsanne-roussanne richness more evident on palate. Simple, fresh, clean. But it's not completely without interest there too. It's only a simple wine, that doesn't quite live up to its billing on its own, but with scallops dusted with curry, and with a slightly lemon-scented sauce it really rather sang

Meyer lemon peel and white floral notes, with a touch of apple. A little pithiness on the palate. Gets a bit flabby when warm, but a nice light quaffer when chilled.
Like the previous vintage, this simple white is a good choice at its $5 price point.

To be drunk with food, doesn't stand alone very well.
