  It's always a punt when you open one of these oldies, anyhow the cork broke in half even with the use of an ah-so opener, but the top 3/4 was dry and so had don't it's job, the wine was in excellent condition, light ruby in the center with burnt orange to clear on the margins , touch of fruit on the nose, no off characters, lovely silky smooth flavour in the mouth, good length on the finish
  For is age this is a sensational wine, which in its day would have cost $5 or less
  
  Colour 15/15 N 26/30 P 37/44 O 10/11
  Drank out of Riedel Cabernet
