Good wine for the En Primeur price. Very rich, with depth but too bitter for me, particularly at the end. (I don't think it's tannin to leave for 5+ years). Decant at least an hour to help it along, and match it with food.

Ten years in the cellar and not much to show for it. The overripe blackcurrants and dark cherries are accompanied by a certain silkiness but the underlying syrupy prune flavours increased as the evening went on, leaving a sensation of something mushy and sickly sweet, with a bitterness to the finish. No reason to suggest that this will not go further downhill. On the other hand, the perfect wine during or post-Covid, to reassure oneself that one's taste and smell are still there.

big and bold but just beginning to calm down. Plenty black berry and dark plum fruits. Spices and black teas. Full bodied, big legs and quite forceful tannins though they are quite smooth. Not hugely refined but very good at what it does.

Tres beau nez, sur le fruit. En bouche plus que moyennement corsé, c est ample avec une finale sur de beaux tanins. Bien agréable
