Unlike the last, this bottle presents a thick, slowly receding head. Rust and yellow color. Sediment present even on a gentle half-bottle pour. Its medium to thick body is intact; falling just short of syrupy. Brett and typical Orval notes still fully present. Enjoyable.

Now headless, it pours a deep amber. Nose is faint of floral perfume. Flavor remains powerful. Brett presence still prominent. This beer can keep.

(aged 1 year) More fruit showing, bitterness rounding out more balance. Very tasty.
