Deep purple in color. Nose is florals, blue fruit, vanilla. Palate is more deep blue fruit smooth tannins, nice round finish. Excellent Cab Franc driiven blend.

A winery worth checking out in Woodinville. While this fine effort won't win any gold medals - it performs admirably on its heavy Franc element - mixing up a Bordeaux blend style not readily come by in our upper left corner of the 48 contiguous. This is one of those wines that will pair with most anything, from meats to lasagne to cheese to chocolate. Ask us, we've tried..

Smoothed out since I first tried this at release, and much richer flavor. Not extraordinary, but very nice. drinking well, I'd recommend drinking in the next year.

Walla Walla Holiday Barrel Tasting 2010; 12/3/2010-12/5/2010 (Walla Walla, WA): Cab franc really comes through on this wine, noticable spice at the end. Still, very fruity, dominated by dark raspberry and other stone fruits, currant, blackberry maybe. Still a bit raw, I think this will really balance out after a few years. Lay it down.

Represented as Bordeaux blend, wine wasn't that refined. Some spicy cherry, plum & currant notes - but more earthy feel...
