Enjoyed with friends and the opinion was unanimous : it’s a first class wine, mature, mixing discreet peach flavours, bakery (one has mentioned almond). Strings of thin bubbles provide seduction in the glasses Can age few years more

Jacquesson 728-741 tasting. 75% 2006, 25% Reserve wines. 54% Chard, 26% PN, 20% PN. Disg 4th quarter 2009, 5 g/L dosage. Tasted in a flight with 733 and 735. Some similarities to both, with a higher % chard than other blends, but showed better than both the others for my palate. Very richly styled. Loads of buttery sweet golden apple, almost creamy texture. Still excellent acidity but lovely soft finish. Still very primary! Another one of the highlights.

Beautiful aged wine showing lots of burnt butter, freshly baked croissants and yellow apples. This has developed very nicely and shows very nicely why Champagne should be aged. Very lovely wine.

Expressive notes of toast, white florals, honey on the nose. Drinking very lush with full-toned fruit flavors of pear, honey, and white peach. Medium acidity, medium+ body, very good finish. This bottle was about at peak, not purchased on release (by me) so unsure of previous storage. Very good, seemed fully mature.

From Magnum, based on 2006, still very fresh, citrus, bread crust, Brioche, some hazelnuts in the finish, drank over 3 hours, getting better with time, 91-92
