Light bodied Shiraz?.. Big oak others mentioned has dissipated, not too fruity or spicy either. Nice balance in my mind...... Nice wine but not the best ever, will finish bottle worth all the pennies if it is under 20 bones. It tastes like a frenchy- Cote rotie-ish.

This Shiraz is made from grapes taken from McLaren Vale and Padthaway, aged in American oak. Fruit-driven wine with plum, blueberry, and a dustiness and cedar note that makes it stand out a bit against other Aussie Shirazes. I noticed a little tobacco and maybe some mint/eucalyptus as well. Velvety mouthfeel, with a pretty good balance.

- Purple color. It's unbalanced with a light/medium body. Linear texture.

Started off with strong fruity tastes, but they faded some as the bottle was consumed. Still a nice bottle.
