More fruity syrup than expected (2003 effect?) with satisfying woody finish. Reminds of lesser del duero. Fullness reminds of Pommard otherwise would not have guessed Burgundy; very good with food and for sipping; For $20 I have no complaints at all. Chambers St has 2011 on sale $44 and contrast would be instructive. Lafauge is respected Meursault producer, and Chanlins look very close on the map.

Red fruit (cherry, raspberry), spice, floral- violet, slight earth, good acidity. Nice depth. Lingering finish. Really enjoyable.
