Very nice change of pace - low alcohol, nice minerality with great purity of fruit and a surprisingly long and satisfying finish. Could well improve with some bottle aging, will be interesting to see where it goes; great QPR @$9/btl - recommended.

I love this wine. Similar notes to my last bottle but I think this wine has taken on some depth and more color since the last bottle. Also, the terrior on this wine really shows incredible minerality. This is a great wine for the price.

This wine is just a pleasure to drhink. The color is a bight ruby red that litterally glows. The nose is all Gamay but with an amazing minerality. The palate is fruity but at the same time like licking stones. Sort of like Cru Beaujolais, but not really. At 11.5% alcohol, i killed the bottle and hardly noticed.

(Les Vins de la Madone (Gilles Bonnefoy) Côtes du Forez Gamay sur Volcan) Medium red violet color; narrow, slightly vegetal, tart red fruit nose; silky textured, light-medium bodied, tart red fruit, lacking complexity, like a simple Beaujolais; short-medium finish

Similar in description to Johann Von Mastiff's 3/31/10 notes except not a 90 point wine.
