  Ruby red color. The ripe nose provides red raspberry, cherry,and an occasional whiff of smoke and spice. The palate is impressive as well - raspberry, cherry, cola, and spice. The velvety mouthfeel is complimented by solid acidity and rounded tannins. The finish is moderately long with a red-fruited, spicy ending. Overall, I enjoyed this wine for its unabashed CA ripeness, without being out of balance, and it's silky mouthfeel.

  Color is a little faded. Fruity nose of raspberry, cherry, maybe some plum. And lots of vanilla after it gets some air time in the glass. Same taste, along with some pepper & oak. Nice balance, medium finish. Score for this wine is distorted by one individual who has highly rated it 7 times with no comments. I wish people wouldn't do that - keep your comments/scores private if you want to keep rating a wine over and over....

  Beautiful Pinot. Fresh berries and cola balanced with acidity. Very elegant and absolutely delicious.

  Classic RRV nose of sweet black cherry, cola, and some vanilla on the end. There is intense sweet fruit on the palate, but nothing else is there. One-dimensional, but quite frankly very easy to drink, as the wine is smooth throughout the mid-palate and finish. The sweetness is quite remarkable though, even after a Williams-Selyem RRV!

  First response when after initial sip was Cherry juice. I smiled. This is my style of pinot with lots of Cherry, black berry and pinot cola goodness coming through on the palate. Big beautiful nose and smooth finish. Lefky would like this. :-)
