Still carrying good flavors and enjoyable fruit. Enjoyed with spaghetti, tomato sauce, and sausage. Not tired but plateauing, should drink the remaining bottle within 2-3 years.

An evening with wine geeks (@Private location, Frankfurt): Glass: Gabriel Gold Brown, tawny color. On the nose some medicinal notes, black tea, tobacco. Very fine. On the palate also not felt apart: Black tea, high, still well integrated acidity, spiciness, some extract sweetness, good balance and length. Drink up. 89-90

Decanted 10 hours, from what I can tell, that’s been a great way to go with Barolos, young or old. From the minute I opened bottle, there was a deep dark berry nose. But later got more rose petal, although something a little plummy and barny. Palate is long, 60 seconds easy. Lots of acidity, tannins totally mellowed. Really nice. Drinking great!
