  • Quite possiby the best wine I've had to emerge from the house of Pat. Certainly the least evolved, which doesn't sound very compelling, so how about "the wine with the most potential." Trace fade to the color, and a powerful primary blast of blueberry belie the Eola profile to an extent, but given that this bottling, or at least this bottle, is built to last 25 YEARS, I'm okay with that. Simply cannot wait for two days to try the second half of (preserved) bottle.

  • Dead fruit and acidic, poured. Others in the tasting were headed this way...try your '98's soon for bearings.
