I may have waited too long, just past peak !! I was not surprised that it was a little tired. Dry cork after a decade and a half in the bottle, removed without drama using the Durand. Burgundy color with modest oxidation. Blackberry aromas and flavors of brabble berries and dried fruit. consumed over two days. I'm sure the winemaker did not intend me to hold it this long. No more remaining in my cellar. should have consumed years ago.

Light garnet color with black currant, cherry, cedar and slight floral aromas. On the palate, between light and medium bodied, balanced, and refined with smooth well integrated tannins and tart black currant, cherry, bittersweet chocolate, flavors. Medium long finish. Unfiltered and unfined.

A somewhat atypical zin. This wine has a strong cherry flavor that is quite pleasant. This is not a powerful wine but a wine in a lighter style. Probably the lightest colored zin I have seen. Very food friendly since it is not very tannic or jammy and the alcohol was never an issue.

The has held up well and tastes like it was bottled yesterday. Still quite a bit of heat on tbe front end. But the fruit is vibrant. Really good zin.

A touch overripe, lacking in acid. Pleasant, not great
