North Willamette Vintner's Wine Trail Weekend; 4/9/2011-4/10/2011: Showed much better than last year. The aromas are slightly nasty green apple sourness... like that of fermenting apples. There's more funky green apples on the palate, with mild acids, and this really nasty metallic streak. Similar on the finish; raspy metallic fruit that has been sitting in a barn for too long.

The palate reminds me of drinking spiced apple cider, this has an oxidized flavor as well, not sure if they were going for that or what. Yellow apples, lightly sweet, with a weird, limp acidity. Not my style.

North Willamette Vintner's Wine Trail Weekend; 4/10/2010-4/11/2010: Big crisp acids on the nose, tart granny smith apple skins too. More apple skins on the palate, but what the hell happens on the finish? This got really nasty, with really bad tree bark funk, sap, and nasty bitterness. Really no good on the finish...
