Replacement for its corked counterpart, this also showed slight traces but was Joe than tolerable. Of bad I don have any notre. Fuller bodied and more well rounded than prior bottles. This was prestigious and while the tannins are resolved, the fruit remains vivid and robust. A few earthy flavors round it out nicely.

Yummy stuff. Green bell pepper, forest floor, and some dark brambly fruit with a little brett. Seemed to get more floral characteristics as the night went on.

Color: Deep ruby at the center and purplish at the edges.
Nose: Dominated by pencil shavings, cedar box, and forest floor, with dill and some sweet berries underneath and a very pleasing fresh aroma that is difficult to explain. Almost a combination of soap, perfume, and freshly cleaned, warm laundry. But it doesn't smell like soap or perfume. I don't know ... can't put my finger on it.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a bit of earthy bite.
Palate: Bell pepper, dried leaves, baked potato skin, black cherry, and black raspberry, with a dry but juicy finish of good length, and stemmy tannins. Great balance.
A very elegant, very interesting, very well made bottle of wine. It just seems a bit muted at the moment. It needs some time to realize its full potential and get even better. Sadly, this was my only bottle. Opened it too soon.

Showing younger than I remember previous bottles. Took some time to blow off mustiness and put on weight. Big and burly though impressive.
