Tasted at winery in Lompoc. Impressive example of Burgundy style wines. Crisp, clean, citrus, very subtle oak, silky. Acidity well balanced against the flavors. Long finish. (Doris 91) 4/8/11 Doris - pineapple, creamy, very good.

From the entrance to their vineyard. 100% maloactic fermented; ALC is 14.6%. Aroma is fantastic, very energetic and effusive with caramel and fruit. Leave it on the counter for just a few minutes and you can sense the aromatic impact from a distance. Full bodied, some crispness and acidity, however, the oak and butterscotch really take over in the mid-palate. Finishes with citrus flavors laced with acidity and a flinty mineral note. A minor bit of the oak monster, but tolerable with a moderate bodied meal.
