Have to concur with previous reviewers. Has some of the buttery smoothness of a Chardonnay, however displayed the fresh crisp fruit and acidity consistent with a Sauvignon Blanc. Paired well balsamic glaze and extra virgin olive oil used for dipping with baguette and complemented a halibut entree nicely.

For me, a "wine of vacation." I remember loving this in Napa, but not having nearly the same experience at home. C liked it better than I did, so we'll split the difference on scores.

Great nose. Citrus blossom and jasmine. Citrus and apple flavors predominate. There is also a hint of candied apricot that gives the illusion of Semillon. Medium weight and texture. Good, tart acidic finish. This has some of the heft and tropical notes typical of Merry Edwards SB but is lighter on its feet and has a little more zing. Excellent.

Even more so now, agree that drinking like a Chard vs a SB. Not aging well for us, less crisp, fatter. Just not our style.
