  Came out with a very pretty and floral nose. Fairly dark color. lighter bodied but still had some weight to it. Tons of structure and some drying tannins that never quite subsided even after hours of air. Some nice sweet notes on the finish. Most balanced about midway through the bottle with some air. Enjoyable, however maybe a tad better early on as the good stuff started to leave and the drying mouthfeel stayed.

  (from memory) Dark red, soft bouquet with mission figs, truffle, earth and spice box, palate is dark and still tight with loads of spicy black fruit and buffering acidity, finish is long and earth driven with balsamic and blackberry undertones
