Enjoyed this bottle. Strawberry and cherry string licorice, along with some herbal quality... believe it may be thyme. Smooth and balanced, with medium length. A quality Pinot. Good acidity. 89-90 pts.

Good QPR. Cherry notes verging on Robitussin (but not in a bad way, if that makes any sense, and more lithe than that would suggest -- the weight of the wine is not at all syrupy) and some earth to it. Very well-balanced; would buy again.

Interesting. Love these Central Otago pinots. Personally, I find them much more interesting than the pinots coming out of Oregon that are ubiquitous here in the Pacific NW. This one is nicely balanced. Minerals. Spice. A bit of straw. Opened up over the course of an hour, adding some black olive notes.

Floral nose of violets, brown sugar, and berries. The palate mirrors the nose. Drink up.

Central Otago Pinot Noir Expo (Prince Wine Store - Bank Street): Bright red cherry nose with complex notes of pear integrated with the delicate oak. A savoury palette full of mouth-filling forest fruits.
