Other tasters nailed it - this wine is all about fun. Kaliedescopic pinot-gamay that, while consistently interesting, doesn't take itself too seriously; great little wine from a great producer.

Rhubarb, strawberry, red currant and rosehip notes on the nose. Smokey, flinty and peppery nuances as well. Lightbodied, refreshing and mineral palate with some tannin and delicate tart fruit. Gunpowder, gravel, chalk, pepper and some rosehip action. Decent length. Huge fun. Way better than the previous bottle I had a glass of some months ago.

Kind of disappointing for me. This bottle didn't show the lush fruit of the regular '09 Cheverny or the zippiness of the '09 Telquel. I'd take either of those two wines over this one (or this bottle, at least).

Nose of listerine, barnyards, and stewed strawberries; acidic and bright, without a ton of complexity, but a good food wine
