This was an experiment on (over) aged white Châteauneuf-du-Pap. It turned to a honeyed and multidimensional wine with dark golden color; olive and forrest-dirt aromas and flavor. It maintained its structure beautifully with average acidity (maybe acid plus for Rhone), oxidized fruit flavor and pleasant finish. I could resemble the taste to Vin jaune. Medium weight on palate. The complex flavors worked with a roasted chicken with herbs and lots of garlic. The initial sound structure of the wine helped its ability to to age.

loved it! decanted for one hour before USA v Portugal match. Smooth taste. Perfect combination with the brisket. The wine looks purple colored. The legs are medium. There was light sediment in the bottle. It smells like red currant with earthy tastes. The body is full and a great smooth texture. The wine finishes long with low acidity.

{ST} Light pale yellow in the glass, medium body with signs of glycerin. This is so young it was folded up tight so that it had no nose at all. A little more weighty on the tongue than in appearance, this showed notes of pear and citrus, flowers, truffle, and nut oil, all in good measure. Excellent acid level and finishes clean with citrus and some minerals. If I were to try this again, I would give it a day decant or wait at least five years for it to reveal its nuances.

This wine has a briny, sea element in the nose. Light, clean lemon flavors. Pretty basic.
