nice St Estephe, not too complex but round and elegant, maybe helped by a good vintage but the experience is fine. Some underbrush and spices, black pepper and some aromatic herbes. Better than expected from previous tasting notes. Every sip is a touch of pleasure

Graphite and flint. Mineralogy shines through. A bit thin at first, slight fruit forward but not much, non-traditional mouth feel and finish, but not offensives; interesting and surprising.

By the glass in M.B. Restaurant. Cherry red colour, opulent fleshy nose, silky tannins barely noticeable well rounded tannins, drinking very forward and well. Paired with a beautiful pigeon. Not distinguishable as a classic St Estephe in this 2009 vintage, but it is a wonderful wine and I imagine a really good value buy! Recommended.

Decent. Fleshy nose. Med- body, acid and tannins. Still primary though.

Huh. Not as fab as I remember. Slightly watery and thin compared with last time. Not sure what the deal is. Maybe it'll open up? I hope so.
