Holding up well, but definitely should drink now. Still has red garnet color. Decanted for 1.5 hours. Nose of earth, red fruit and black licorice. Soft with fading but integrated tannins. Fruit still vibrant on the palate with earthy undertones. Medium length finish.

Closed at first, but needed to warm up a little as it was served too cold. Cassis and cedar prominent, wine evolved over several hours with more coffee and tobacco notes coming out, gaining complexity and some smoothness, but still not a very approachable wine.
This wine is clearly not tired at all and I'd guess it can have at least 5 more years and may still improve slightly.
Good QPR at 20 euros.

Needed decant for a little funk, then respectable aged Bordeaux.
