Deep ruby. Still some dark berries, with prunes. Well balanced, tannins fairly low, medium finish. Drinking well and I’m sure wil be fine for 3/4 years.

Last time I had this wine in 2017 ( rated 89+/100), now it is fully ready , at its peak. Outstanding mature Bordeaux, gained more weight and opulence for last a few years, this is excellent example of 2009 vintage which proved its aging ability. Albeit hot year with high alcohol, this wine has matured beautifull with great balance without drying tannins. If you can find it, does not hesistate to buy it

Cellared at 55 degree since acquired on release. Cork solid. Bitter and one dimensional at open. Barnyard as mentioned by others. Then Decanted. At 1.25 hours with lamb chops: Heaven! Nose dark fruit and cherry. Still a slight bitter finish but perfect marriage with lamb and the charred bits when lamb bones put back on grill. At two hours fleshed out to wonderful mouthfeel, kitsch, bitter blackberry and bitter cherry but enough fruit power to minimize that bitterness . Reminded of bitter cherry candy. Nose is unsweetened licorice and earth, ethanol, and menthol. The more I sip, the sweeter, and fruitier it gets but the tannins keep it under control. Definitely a food wine (also had a side of Vindalo Masala chicken-another killer pairing. ) Doubt it will get any better. Drink up! But with food. Lamb Chops the best!

Deep garnet. Some dark fruits on the nose, but they are flattening out. More prominent are game, savoury, farmyard aromas and flavours. Full bodied, medium tannins, long finish. Very good and I think will be ok for another few (4/5) years.

Medium ruby. Blackberries on the nose and palate. Medium acid, tannins. Reasonable balance, shorter finish than anticipated. Quite good, probably has 2-3 more years.
