Agree with below. Not such a mouthful as a typical jammy shiraz, but still a little sweet and lacking in depth. Somehow the flavor leavels one with a slightly empty sensation - a little synthetic/manufactured

I expected a fruit bomb, given the stereotype associated with Australian wines. But much to my delight, this was not a fruit bomb. Pleasant sweetness, with delicious vanilla notes after it hits your tongue. Surprisingly, the wine closes down between an hour and two hours after opening; at that point, the vanilla notes disappear.
