Cellaring has been magic here. I tasted this a number of times at around 2-3 years and thought this would go nowhere. Wrong. This bottle had integrated well with some complex but the same vibrancy you would expect from a younger wine. It's still the really clean red fruited wine you get from the upper Yarra but with so much more.

Light Crimson colour and quite transparent. Light to medium legs.
Cherries and raspberries on the nose. Secondary tones of oak and minerals.
Quite powerful on the palate considering how light the colour is. Acidity a little strong for my taste. Not sure if this would become more subtle with more time in the bottle.

A very good pinot. Clear red purple. Cherry, plums and a slight mushroominess on the nose. Dark cherry, plums and spice in the mouth. Should hold for a few years yet.

Stunning - rivalling Farr as my favourite Australian pinot producer

A light to medium red in colour, the nose has dark cherry , aromatic spices and a touch of stem.
The palate shows textured dark cherry and interloping cedary oak that carries the concentrated fruit, the finish is long and fruit driven.
A very good wine that will surely reward cellaring.
